Samantha Romano

Samantha has successfully led accounts as the Project Management Office (PMO) lead as well as led internal and external assessments directly with management supporting several multi-year IT implementations on a global and regional scale. Previous system implementations include full suite Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Accounting, Material Management & Accounting System (MMAS), Manufacturing Execution System (MES), and operationally / financially significant sub-systems. Previous implementation projects supported domestic and international defense service providers, including but not limited to, maritime, aviation, combat, and energy-based entities. In addition to standard IT services, she has performed the following:

• Completed analytics over customer data to identify anomalies within data integrity and perform root cause analysis on process gaps.
• Performed gap analysis between internal compliance and applicable regulatory entities.
• Developed key metrics, established best practices against industry standards, and identified process improvements.

Previous to joining Capital Edge Consulting, Samantha served in upper management positions working directly with C-suite individuals. She also provided ground-up Deltek Costpoint implementation support under a federal subcontracting company.

Samantha holds her Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification.

Samantha graduated from The Virginia Polytechnic and State University (Virginia Tech) with three degrees: BS in Corporate Finance, BA in International Business, and MBA in Operational and Strategic Management.
