Professional Experience: Don’s experience includes supporting clients across industries including cities and municipalities, construction, consulting, defense, energy, engineering, food and beverage, manufacturing, oil and gas, and public transit. He has led complex transformations of direct and indirect procurement functions to significantly enhance capabilities, skills and productivity, procurement solutions effectiveness and adoption, supplier management and supplier performance capabilities, and value realization.
As the head of global procurement at a Fortune 500 Government Contractor, Don led the organization through transformation and established the Supplier Management, Category Management, Center of Excellence, and Global Shared Services functions. He has led functionally the implementation of on-premise ERP and Cloud-deployed procurement solutions.
While the owner of the Federal Purchasing and Federal Estimating Systems, he maintained continual approval of both systems and represented the company during CPSRs conducted by the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and estimating system audits by the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA).
