Ty Dusablon is a Manager with Capital Edge Consulting, Inc., based in the company’s McLean, VA office. Ty has over a decade of experience in various government contract cost accounting and regulatory compliance issues related to Federal government contracts, grants, and cooperative agreements. Ty’s areas of expertise include Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, Audit Requirements for Federal awards to non-Federal entities (Uniform Guidance), and the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS). Ty is also well-versed in various levels of audit support including Business System Reviews, Single Audit, and Inspector General audits.
Ty is skilled at working with both government contractors and Federal award recipients of varying size and industry focus. Ty has assisted clients with DFARS Business Systems compliance, policy and procedure development, Internal Controls Assessments, and other regulatory compliance matters. Ty currently holds a Secret security clearance with the U.S. Department of Defense.
Prior to joining Capital Edge, Ty was an audit supervisor and lead consultant for an independent CPA firm. Ty was also contracted by the U.S. Department of State, where he conducted audits and analysis at the U.S. Embassies in over 25 foreign countries. Ty has supervised and performed several Single Audits under both OMB A-133 and the new Uniform Guidance, Subpart F.
Ty graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and Finance.
Teresa earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting from Slippery Rock University.
